In July 25, 2009, the Guesthouse "Helianthus", the flower of Vassiliou family, blossomed in the central square of the island. A unique masterpiece of the Athonite architecture, a summer flower with rich aromas and colors that each year opens its petals from 1st of May until mid-October.

Stratos Vasiliou, is the guesthouse host that runs successfully all these years the family business. A graduate of the American College of Athens, spending almost all his summers on this small island paradise. Being ambitious and with a high standard vision, he decided to leave his career as a Computer Analyst in Athens and devote himself to something more creative and summer demanding.

Υoung both at age and in the tourism sector, he successfully managed to complete the building constructions in just one year, and to run a healthy business as well. Direct evidence, the outstanding comments and rates of our guests.

Previously to the Guesthouse premises, there was the house of the adorable grandfather Stratis and grandmother Anthi. A large house with a blossomed garden, always full of people, friends, relatives, a warm ambience with hospitable hosts. It was the house, in which Stratos traveled his dreams each summer as a child, as a teenager and as an adult. The place in which Stratos envisioned his bold idea of turning it into a luxurious tourist summer accommodation and destination!
